In this stamp issue, the photos of 5 Cultural Medallion recipients, Mr David Tay(1982), Mr Tan Lip Seng(1985), Mr Chua Soon Bin(1988), Mr Foo Tee Jun(1989), and Mr Teo Bee Yen(2004) are specially reproduced. All 5 gentlemen have made a mark on arts development and played an instrumental role in weaving the tapestry of nationhood.
