Aleksei Stepanovich Stepanov (Russian: АЛЕКСЕЯ СТЕПАНОВИЧА СТЕПАНОВ)(born April 24, 1858, died October 5, 1923) was a very famous animal painter in Russian history. The Illustration of the PCBCS depicts one of his work "Moose" that was painted in 1889.
