Name: 90th Anniversary of the Restored State of Lithuania

The Council of Lithuania, which was elected during the Vilnius Conference held between the 18th and 22nd of September, 1917, in the meeting on the 16th of February, 1918, under the chairmanship of J. Basanavičius declared the restoration of an independent State of Lithuania, governed by democratic principles, with the capital in Vilnius.
During the meeting held in Vilnius, in Didžioji Street 30 (currently Pilies Street 26) the Act of Independence was signed by: J. Basanavičius, S. Banaitis, M. Biržiška, K. Bizauskas, P. Dovydaitis, S. Kairys, P. Klimas, D. Malinauskas, V. Mironas, S. Narutavičius, A. Petrulis, A. Smetona, J. Smilgevičius, J. Staugaitis, A. Stulginskis, J. Šaulys, K. Šaulys, J. Šernas, J. Vailokaitis, and J. Vileišis.
Comment: This is a excellent FDC.
1. The new issue stamp appears Basanavičius' figure, so my friend added an old Basanavičius stamp on the FDC for the additional postage.
2. This FDC was sent from Vilnius Central Post Office which is the nearest post office from Signatarų namai (Signatory's House) Map Link...
