Olympex, the Olympic Expo Beijing 2008 (OEB 2008) takes place at the Beijing Exhibition Center on August 8, 2008 and lasts for 11 days. The Olympic Expo Beijing 2008, as a first ever Olympic Expo, is jointly sponsored by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG), Chinese Olympic Committee (COC) and China Post Group (CPG), and organized by CPG. With “Inheriting Olympic Spirit, Inspiring Beijing City” as its theme, the OEB 2008 will intensively display the development of the Olympic Movement and the Olympic history. It will promote Olympic spirit and culture through showcasing Olympic stamps, coins, pins and works of art. The OEB 2008 is an international Olympic cultural event with the greatest scope, widest coverage and highest level in the Olympic history so far.
