The Philippines' Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (Filipino: Kawanihan ng mga Pangisdaan at mga Yamang-Tubig), abbreviated as BFAR, is an agency of the Philippine government under the Department of Agriculture responsible for the development, improvement, management and conservation of the Philippines' fisheries and aquatic resources.

Starting out as Bureau of Fisheries in July 1, 1947 with the merging of then Department of Agriculture and Commerce’s Division of Fisheries, field districts, experimental stations and other agencies connected with fishery work, BFAR has evolved into a line bureau with 16 regional offices, 7 national technology centers and 7 regional technology centers and the National Fisheries Research and Development Institute, its research arm.
