2. Pierre de Coubertin, the founder of the modern Olympic Games as well as historian and educator.
3. The ancient ruins of Olympia is located in the west of the Peloponnesos Peninsula and on the northern bank of the Alpheus River in Greece.
4. The first modern Olympic Games were held in Athens, capital of Greece, from April 6 to 15 in 1896.
