1.20元 (2-2): Cloisonné Enamel Grass Holder with the Design of Brance-tangled Peony (掐丝珐琅缠枝牡丹纹藏草瓶)
The cloisonné enamel grass holder with the design of brance-tangled peony, dating to the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), features a greaceful shape and gorgeous design patterns. It is considered an outstanding representative of cloisonné enamelobjects of the later Qing period.
China 2009 World Stamp Exhibition, held from April 10 to 16, 2009, in Luoyang, Henan Province, was a new pageant of its kind following the 1999 World Stamp Exhibition successfully held in Beijing. A grand, comprehensive stamp show, the 2009 World Stamp Exhibition gave a display of 3,200 frames entered by more than a hundred countries and regions, including some globally renowned philatelic items. This event was committed to promoting the international philatelic cultural exchange, increasing cooperation among postal service departments of China and other countries (regions), pushing forward the development of postal and philatelic industries, and serving as a gift to the 60th anniversary of New China.
