Vasily Andreyevich Zhukovsky (b. 29 January 1783, Mishenskoe, near Tula Oblast, Russia - d. April 1852, Baden-Baden, Germany) was the foremost Russian poet of the 1810s.

He is credited with introducing the Romantic Movement to Russian literature.
