Located in Wudalianchi city in Heilongjiang province, Wudalian Lake Volcanoes is a famous tourist attraction of volcano. The scenic area was formed by a breakout of volcano in 1719 to 1721. After which, five connected lava lakes were formed.

There are not only five lakes, but also some other 14 volcanoes in this area. The Laohei Mountain and the Huoshao Mountain are the two youngest volcanoes among the 14.

The best time for tourists to visit is from June to September. Tourists may not just view the charming scenery, but also to bathe here. It was said that the spring here has the function of curing some diseases. Therefore, sanatoriums are built for tourists.
